What makes me different :

My greatest goal as your therapist is to create a customized treatment plan that highlights your strengths, joys, and beliefs. When you arrive to the session, I see YOU – not any other client.

Why would I attempt to make you fit into a treatment plan that I knew did not match the way you view and operate in the world? Because it has worked for others in the past? Maybe because it is the current “buzz” in pop culture? No, I want MORE for my clients.

Instead of limiting myself to one therapeutic approach, I pull from the countless approaches I have studied. This allows me to provide you with a specially curated therapeutic approach that helps you be successful in achieving your therapeutic goals while learning techniques that you can continue to use throughout your life.

I also work from a client-centered approach that creates an environment where you get to be a master of your journey. I use goal-oriented tactics to help us stay on track each session in achieving your goals in a timely manner.

I do not have a “hidden agenda” before each session. Instead, I allow you to reflect on your week and provide me with some details about where you want to pick up from our last session. Why do I do this? Because life happens. Plain and simple. Don’t worry, this approach is always done ensuring we are on target with achieving your initial goals.

Relationships are difficult. No two people are the same. It can be hard to explore your deep feelings and emotions with someone you are close to. Sometimes people need a neutral sounding board where they know whatever they say, they will not be judged.

I view confidentiality as the key component to therapy. By going above and beyond to ensure your confidentiality is maintained, you can feel comfortable exploring numerous topics and ideas you may feel uncomfortable expressing in any other environment.

You do not need to feel lost, confused, and unsure about where to start or how to get through. You already have the hard work of identifying, examining, exploring, and reflecting on your emotions and thoughts.
