From Big ‘T’ Trauma to Little ‘t’ trauma…

Trauma of any kind is an extremely painful and sensitive subject for anyone. It takes a high level of comfort for an individual to begin exploring the hurt they have experienced.

It is important to me that I establish an environment for you where you do not feel judged. I do my best to make you feel comfortable during every session. I want you to have a high level of self-empowerment to ensure you feel okay with the pace of the sessions and how fast we work through different traumatic events.

How I can assist you move past the trauma

I operate from a Trauma-Informed Care model, and much of my training has been trauma-based since I was in graduate school.

Many individuals have felt that they are unable to express many of the traumas they have experienced due to the societal standards that we currently experience.

My goal is to break down all these standards and provide you with a safe place where you can be open about your experiences while effectively processing your past, present, and current emotions.

Many clients have come to me with repressed memories and have sought out therapy when they begin to remember these memories.

I meet everyone where they are currently and use my training to help guide you through exploring how your trauma has impacted your past, affects your present, and is likely to have an impact on your future if changes aren’t made.
